No $5 notes were issued in December 1874 or March 1875 although they were the first denomination issued when the 3 year from date notes were delivered from the printer in April and May of 1875. We can conclude that there were not any $5 that remained from the original order. We know that at least 4865 $2 notes since an unissued serial number $2 is shown in Paul Garland's book. If #4865 is the highest $2 serial number, we can conclude there were 4605 $1 notes in the original $25,000 order. What happened to the other uissued $1 and $2 is unknown.
