John Schafluetzel and Alfrieda Ann Schindler were married on 12 June 1912 at St. Liborius in St. Louis, MO. See page 130 to St. Liborius records. Alfrieda Ann Schindler was born on 3 July 1892 at Christian Hosp. NE in St. Louis, MO. She was confirmed on 16 April 1905 in Zion Luthern. She died on 22 January 1978 in Spanish Lake, MO. OBITUARY:

Frieda Schafluetzel, 86 2418 Castle Drive, St. Louis, Mo., died there Sunday, Jan 22. She was the mother of John Schafluetzel, long time Greeley resident.

She was born in Germany July 3, 1891, and lived in St Louis most of her life. She was married to John Schafluetzel, who died in St. Louis at age 32. At St. Louis she was a member of the Lutheran Church. Besides her son, John, of Greeley, she is survived by another son Raymond of St. Louis; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday in St. Louis with burial there.
